Description:
Replacement rear extension and kitchen garden to this Grade II Listed house on Chiswick Mall facing the river Thames. The building has close ties to the Fuller's Brewery behind and used to be the Master Brewer's house. The proposal replaces an older poor quality Edwardian extension with a Georgian style kitchen extension, which connects to a newly created walled garden and restored kitchen garden. The proposal restores the historic connection between the house, gardens, and the river Thames, where hops would be brought by river through the grounds of to the Fuller's Brewery hop room, the door to which still exists in the garden of Belle Vue House.
